In the coming days, life and classes at Masaryk University will follow not only the green level of the traffic-light system but also current government regulations. MU buildings will remain open for students, employees, and the public. However, respirators must be worn at all times, including in classrooms.
Employees and students must wear respirators in all MU buildings with the exception of situations in which a person is alone in a room and situations in which teachers, lecturers or students singing or exercising or sitting in a class are following the condition that there are at most 30 people in one room, who explicitly and unanimously agree that wearing respirators is not necessary.
Lectures attended by more than 150 people will be held in hybrid form. It is recommended that students stay in homogenous groups, that is, that students from different programmes, departments, courses, and so forth do not mix. Limits on room capacity must also be respected during exams. In-person exams or other methods of completing courses must be conducted in such a way that participants keep at least a 1.5-metre distance from each other. Everyone must also wear a respirator.
Respirators are also mandatory in common areas in dormitories. Meeting socially inside and outside of accommodation facilities is prohibited.
It is suggested that employees work in hybrid mode or at home. If several employees share an office, they should rotate to limit the number of people present at one time.

Masaryk University is doing all it can to promote and make accessible vaccinations. Mobile teams have been deployed to vaccinate students, and students and employees have the opportunity to get the vaccine at the university. A third dose of the vaccine has been offered to employees who received their first two shots through MU more than six months ago.
MU will be offering vaccinations on the following dates from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m.: Tuesday, 2 November, at the MU building on Komenské námestí in rooms 204 and 205, and Wednesday, 10 November, at the Bohunice Campus in rooms B22/302 and B22/303.
