Twelve new MU professors appointed by president

Czech President Miloš Zeman has signed appointment decrees for 83 new professors nominated by the scientific and artistic councils of Czech universities.  

MU Vice-Rector for Development, Legal and Information Technologies has been appointed full professor.

The President’s decision also needs the Prime Minister’s approval. The appointment decrees will be handed over to the new professors by the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports.

Radim Polčák is Masaryk University’s Vice-Rector for Development, Legal and Information Technologies; earlier this year, he was awarded for contributions to the field of cybersecurity by the National Cyber and Information Security Agency.
