The financial aid is an expression of solidarity and support for those affected by the unprecedented attack on university grounds in the Czech Republic. The money raised will be handed over to the Rector of Charles University, Milena Králíčková, at the beginning of 2024 to be used for the needs of those affected by the shooting at the Faculty of Arts.
Financial contributions can be made in the form of a donation through the MU Shopping Centre. Information about the current amount donated can be found on muni.cz.
In connection with yesterday’s tragedy, a commemorative event will also be held today at 3 pm in front of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University on Arne Nováka Street. The gathering is organised by the Students’ Chamber of the Academic Senate of Masaryk University.
