On Saturday, 8 November 2025, all faculties of Masaryk University opened their doors to prospective students. A record 3,500 people registered for the university-wide open day, known as the MUNI Open Day, which is 9 percent more than last year. If we also count their accompanying visitors, more than 5,800 people came to the university that day.
This year, Masaryk University offered prospective students 15 programmes, including workshops by the Career and Counselling Centre focused on choosing the right study programme and wellbeing. Faculty programmes are prepared each year by the students themselves, who also give talks about studying and the range of study programmes, share their experiences, and answer questions. In addition, faculties traditionally offered tours of their facilities, allowing visitors to look not only into classrooms but also laboratories and libraries. The programme usually included quizzes and competitions as well.
Those who missed the MUNI Open Day, or would like to visit again, need not worry. From November to February, additional open days organized individually by the faculties will take place. We look forward to seeing you!
