The new institute has been established by Masaryk University and two other leading Czech universities

On Monday, 7 December, the university traffic-light system will move to yellow. MU buildings will no longer be completely closed. 

Four universities and two research institutes headquartered in Brno have agreed to further cooperate on the CEITEC project.

Rector Martin Bareš summarizes the easing of restrictions on in-person teaching that will go into effect on 25 November.

From 25 November laboratory courses will be permitted for a maximum of 20 people. Each faculty will decide which in-person classes will reopen.

We mustn’t underestimate or downplay the epidemic. The leaders of Masaryk University have issued a statement calling on employees, teachers, students, and the wider public to adhere to the strict measures in place.

Thanks to a unique legal solution, MU students and employees do not have to wait for blanket agreements to be made with copyright collectives.

A new mobile app for communicating with volunteers enables the volunteer centre to send notifications about requests.

University buildings will be closed. They will be accessible only to ensure classes are taught and for students in fields of study allowed by the government.
