The coronation of King Charles III took place on Saturday 6 May. In 2010, the newly crowned British monarch – then Charles, Prince of Wales – received Masaryk University’s Great Gold Medal in addition to his many other awards and honours.

All MU canteens now offer at least one vegan meal every day. Students can pre-order them via WebKredit or MobilKredit.

Hundreds of students from Ukraine fleeing the war are in their first year of studies at Masaryk University. Teachers from the MU Language Centre, who have already taught more than 7,500 hours of Czech to foreigners, have helped them to start their studies as smoothly as possible.
